ThreatSTOP at RSA 2017

Hello again, San Francisco! We can’t believe it’s already the third day of RSA, but we’ve had a great time exhibiting and talking to attendees and partners about our newest product, Roaming Endpoint. (And our existing products, DNS and IP Firewall Services)

We kicked Monday off with Roaming Endpoint’s official release, debuting a product that gives the same DNS Firewall Service protection on customer laptops. It’s a Cloud-based offering that swiftly detects and automatically blocks DNS attacks on laptops outside a secured company network, without using external 3rdparty DNS servers or requiring a VPN connection. This new SaaS offering is our answer to a massively growing mobile workforce, protecting devices when they leave the corporate network, anywhere and anytime.

On Wednesday, ThreatSTOP’s Founder, Tom Byrnes, spoke at A10’s booth about keeping security policies effective in high volume environments. There doesn’t have to be a tradeoff between security and performance (ex. the annoying aspect of page load time) and Tom explained how handling intelligence independently of enforcement can do just that. Keep an eye out for the video of his brief presentation, coming soon. Thanks, A10!

Hey, it’s still not over yet! The ThreatSTOP team will be at booth S2714 until 3 PM today, offering up our RSA promotional deal – Sign up for one year of DNS Firewall Service and get one year of our IP Firewall Service for free. Check it out here. The guy who invented DNS is our Chief Scientist, so we know a thing or two about protecting it.

Stay tuned for our round up of the security trends and highlights we’ve seen at this year’s conference.

Also, this will most certainly be us come Saturday. Cheers to a great RSA!
